I became addicted to CrossFit in 2012 and feel CrossFit has helped me achieve the best shape of my life. Throughout my life I have played numerous sports, spent countless hours in traditional gyms, and ran numerous miles in the name of fitness. However, it was not until I found CrossFit in 2012 that I truly began to feel like I had found the answer to achieving my fitness goals. When combined with proper strength training I believe the CrossFit methodology best aids an individual in his/her journey to true unlimited lifelong health. I also really enjoy the fact that there is always something that needs to be improved due to the extremely varied and constantly changing nature of CrossFit.
My absolute favorite thing about coaching is seeing individuals push themselves beyond what they think they are capable of. The human body is capable of achieving so much more than we believe. Countless times I have seen someone start a workout with terror and doubt about the upcoming challenge only to later persevere through adversity and achieve greatness. It is an amazing thing to witness.
Another reason why I love coaching is that I also love to be loud and yell. Seldom do I get to do that and coaching is the stage that allows me to be my true self. I am at home in the gym. It is one of my favorite places in the entire world.
